Learning Microsoft Windows on Your Computer: A Class for Beginners—Saving and Finding Files In-Person
This class is all about working with files on a computer. We'll show you how to save your work, find it later, and keep everything organized. This is a super important skill for using a computer! We'll cover:
- Saving Files: Learn how to save your papers, pictures, and other things you make on the computer. We'll talk about different kinds of files and how to pick the right one. You'll also learn how to name your files so you can find them easily and where to save them on the computer.
- Finding Your Files: Ever saved something and then couldn't find it again? We'll show you how to use the computer's search tools to find your files fast.
- Using Folders: Learn how to make folders to keep your files organized, just like you use folders for papers. This makes it much easier to find what you're looking for.
- Helpful Tips: We'll share some easy tips and shortcuts to make managing your files even simpler.
