Faces of Dudley: Exploring Nubian Square through Photography - Hosted by ICA Teens In-Person

Join the ICA Teens team to learn basic photographic skills such as using a DSLR camera at the Shaw-Roxbury Branch of the Boston Public Library on October 18, 2025 between 12 - 2 p.m. In this 2-hour workshop by teens, for teens, participants will explore the iconic Faces of Dudley mural before spending time capturing the neighborhood through provided DSLR cameras.

Participants only need to bring themselves and a positive attitude. DSLR camera & equipment, as well as snacks, will be provided. Limited cameras available. Registration is required.

This Art Walk experience will focus on public art in the Roxbury neighborhood and spotlight discoveries and experiences of the ICA Teen's 2025 Photography Collective cohort’s collaboration with the Boston Research Center. This collaboration is part of the Neighborhood Public Art Project, a Mellon-Grant funded Wiki Project project led by the Boston Research Center.
